Prune, Trim and Shape your bushes and shrubs

Trimming is synonymous with Pruning which involves intentional and selective cutting of branches to achieve specific results.

Pruning is necessary to promote good plant health, remove damaged limbs, encourage new growth, and maintain shape. Pruning directs growth, allows light and air to reach the plant and removes the excess weight of damaged and diseased branches.

The best time to prune depends upon the plant:

  • Trim early-spring- flowering shrubs right after they bloom.
  • For non-flowering plants, trim after new growth has completely formed. You can do light trimming throughout the year.Patios/WalkwaysLandscape Lighting
